“ Asacris is the solo project of Andrey "Aivars" Kulavsky from Saransk. The project was founded in 2014, initially starting its journey under the name "Night By Day Light." However, with a shift in concept and a reimagining of its creative path, it adopted a new name: Asacris (from Latin - "rejected from the sanctuary").

The debut EP Tabula Rasa (2020) symbolized a blank slate - the idea that a person is born without innate experience, and their essence is shaped solely by life’s trials and experiences. But this "blank slate" was only the prologue. Aivars returned after four years, having overcome personal crises and inner struggles, to release a full-length album, Yad (Poison), in December 2024.

The album Yad is an explosive cocktail of emotions, where every note is imbued with inner fire and a drive for self-expression.
